Know Modi

U wanna know bout real Modi, read on n allow me the intro:
Modi is a hardcore developmental leader who fought on developmental issue until the so called 'secular sonia' dint came up with 'maut ke saudagar'.

# There was not even a single riot or terrorist attack since he returned to power in 2002.

# The election-2007 which was alleged to be fought in polarized atmosphere, is exactly the opposite as it clearly resembled the return of normalcy in the state. Please pay attention : in 1995 n 1998 elections central Gujarat was a strong hold of congress and BJP never managed to win more than 20 seats in that area, except 2002 when in the background of Hindu support after post godhra riots it won 38 out of 43. this election clearly showed normalcy as BJP returned to tis earlier figure of 18. The least that represent it is that Hindus have put behind the riots. (difficult to say the same bout Muslims).

# Before 2002, 20% of electorate used to vote for other parties n independents but in 2002 that vote was distributed between congress n BJP. In 2007 elections there were signs of returning to older pattern.

# So the question is why did he won??? let me answer tht too...
the last 5 yrs in Gujarat have seen most rapid development. bet 1998-2002 Gujarat's Per Capita Income grew by 2% per annum. Since 2003 it has grown at 10% per annum.

# Economist theorize that higher growth in society create wedge among the haves n have-nots, n on this plank congress tried to capture the impoverished region of Saurastra which sends 58 MLA's to LA.congress never won more than 18 seats there n this time they even lost 4 out of that tally. this is called inclusive growth!!!

# He maintained the reputation of being a incorruptible leader in an otherwise corrupt state, n gave due attention to the programmes linked to the poor.

# His ' chiranjivi yojana' brought down the IMR n MMR n his 'beti bachao andolan' increased the female to male ratio from 802 in 2002 to 870 in 2007.

# There are lots of lessons to b learnt n things to b emulated by many other under developed states rather than to just mollifying him for everything he's not directly responsible.Hope that little intro to the progressive face of Modi will help u understand the maligned attempt of congress with the help of biased media to undermine the new phase of developmental politics which will end only with the BJP's win in central election.

Let's give Modi his due...

Today my heart gets filled with remorse and anguish, when i see that an ambitious and a capable leader like Narendra Modi has become the favourite punching bag for the pseudo secular people, spearheaded by a totally biased media. Such people don't even take the pain to see the fortune he has brought for the people of Gujarat (all inclusive). I fail to understand why people cant understand that when he talks about the Gujarati pride, it automatically includes the Muslim community as well. But some will construe it to mean only the Gujarati Hindus. And then some of our secular drum beaters will blame Modi of playing divisive politics.

Everybody agrees with the hardcore fact of Gujarat being the most progressive state of India but why do the same people shy away from giving the credit to its CM.

Its alleged that modi has polarized the society by keeping alive the 'ghost of godhra' to win election this time round, but they fail to recognize that he fought this election on the developmental plank and got the mandate only because people of Gujarat chose development over politics of hatred.
Many people argue that why modi does not apologize for the godhra riots to the Muslim community in particular and the country in general. i have two questions for those people:

*Why don't they forget the scary past and learning from the incident, proceed towards a new future endowed with hopes and aspirations?

*Why do they forget that muslims were not the only victims of the riots. It was a riot and both the sides were affected and one cant quantify the damage to show victimization of a particular community.

The Muslims in Gujarat are most advanced among other states as there literacy rate in this state is at 75% higher than both national average and the Muslim average all over the country.

The electricity lines connecting all villages under 24 hours electricity supply don't by pass the Muslim villages and households.

When he is not discriminating against the minorities in his developmental policies, then let us not discriminate against him. Let's give the man the accolades he rightfully deserves.
